FAQ
A few things worth knowing.
Clear from the start.
Who owns the work?
You own the work product on payment, as set out in the contract. Code lives in your repositories from the first commit unless you ask us to host it. We can work within your environment and sign your NDA.
Will we work on the same hours?
Yes. EU clients can work with us through a standard CET day. For US clients, we agree a shifted schedule with working-day overlap before starting. Production support outside those hours can be discussed separately.
Can we meet the engineers first?
Yes. Proposals name the people and include their CVs. For dedicated teams and embedded engineers, you can interview them before signing so you can assess experience and fit.
How do you protect our data?
Our security lead reviews the setup for every engagement. We use least-privilege access through your identity provider where possible, keep production data off personal machines, and follow an offboarding checklist when someone leaves your project.
How do we get started?
We begin with a short call to understand your needs. If there is a fit, we send a proposal with named people, scope, pricing and terms. A paid pilot of two to four weeks lets you assess how we work before making a larger commitment.
How will we stay in touch?
We work in the communication and planning tools you already use. You receive a short written update each week and a monthly review with the founder leading your engagement.
What if someone leaves the project?
We tell you as early as possible and bring in a replacement with a handover period at our cost. The founders stay involved throughout the engagement.
How do contracts and invoicing work?
We contract directly with EU and US companies and invoice in EUR or USD. The signing entity, payment terms and any VAT details are set out in your proposal.
Do you work with startups?
Yes, when the project fits our expertise. We are best suited to funded companies building a serious product or strengthening an existing system.
